Trinity & Bowthorpe Medical Practice Wins Practice Team Award

Trinity & Bowthorpe Medical Practice in Norwich was nominated and won the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) East Anglia Faculty’s Practice Team Award this year – this only goes to one practice in our region each year. It is given to recognise excellent services for patients, and efforts to innovate and create a high-quality clinical working environment for all staff.

The Practice was nominated for its role in hosting one of the Covid Vaccination centres, continuing to deliver teaching to each year group of medical students, maintaining good clinical services, and staff participation in Primary Care Network (PCN) and Integrated Care Board (ICB) roles.

The award was received during the annual ceremony on Wednesday 23rd  November in Newmarket and was presented by RCGP President Dame Clare Gerada.

Dr Nick Morton, Senior Partner at Trinity & Bowthorpe Medical Practice, said "It was a delight to receive this award as it is testament to all the hard work done by both clinicians and support staff through some very difficult times."

Fiona Wilson, Practice Manager at Trinity & Bowthorpe Medical Practice, said "We are incredibly grateful for this award, and I'd like to thank our amazing team who invest in our patients and each other; and our Patients, especially those in our Patient Participation Groups who continue to support the Practice.
